LITTLE ROCK, ARK. — The Case Management Society of America (CMSA) will be forging new paths in 2007 through its premier Collaborative Practice Summit (CPS) to be held October 3 - 5, 2007, at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.
CMSA’s Collaborative Practice Summit 2007 is designed to present the leading-edge models, to explore benchmarks for measurement, and to provide networking opportunities to meet and learn from health care leaders currently developing and piloting collaborative practice programs.
This inaugural event expects to bring together leaders, innovators and collaborators from throughout health care, including CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, CMOs, Nurse Executives and Product/Program Directors. Headlining the conference will be Erik Wahl, a recognized artist and speaker who inspires professionals to achieve greater levels of performance. His consulting firm, The Wahl Group, challenges organizations to implement breakthrough thinking techniques to accomplish extraordinary results.
Invited to serve as an opening speaker, is Michael O. Leavitt, Secretary of Health & Human Services (HHS), Department of Health and Human Services, Washington, DC. As Secretary of HHS he is committed to unleashing the power of technology to improve the quality of care, reduce mistakes and manage costs. Sec. Leavitt will address his vision of a health care system based on access and affordability, wellness, prevention and personal responsibility, and advancement of innovation and technology.
