DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n  \n\n\n\nRiverside HealthCare Consulting in collaboration with the WMCMA Chapter is pleased to offer the following program\, A Pathway for Gaining Recognition of Your Knowledge and Expertise in Case Management from 8 AM to 5 PM on October\, 17th 2025. This is an 8 hour CCM exam prep class. CCM candidates sitting for the exam who have taken this instructor's class have an 85% pass rate on the first exam they take. \nThis Review Course\, offered as a step in preparation for the CCM examination\, focuses on the five major domains of essential knowledge typically required to provide case management interventions. This base of knowledge includes:\n1.     Care delivery and reimbursement methods\n2.     Psychosocial concepts and support systems\n3.     Quality and outcomes evaluation and measurements\n4.     Rehabilitation concepts and strategies\n5.     Ethical\, legal and practice standards\nObjectives\nAdvance the attendee's ability to:\n1.Identify core competencies that serve as the foundation of a professional practice of case management.\n2.     Discuss key elements necessary for the efficient and effective delivery of and the funding for healthcare services.\n3. Identify the psychosocial concepts that may be incorporated into a professional practice of case management.\n4.     Describe quality measures and quality improvement initiatives that are integral to a professional practice of case management.\n5.     Apply key ethical\, legal and practice standards that guide a professional practice of case management through and across each transition of patient care.\n6.     Identify rehabilitation concepts and strategies that impact a professional practice of case management.\nTarget Audience\n         Healthcare professionals who are preparing to seek certification in case management from an accepted certification body.\nABOUT THE PRESENTER\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNancy Skinner\, RN\, CCM\, CMGT-BC\, ACM-RN\, CMCN\, FCM\nNancy has for the past 27 years served as a national case management educator. In her current role as principal consultant for Riverside HealthCare Consulting\, she develops programs that advance excellence in care coordination and other transitional care strategies.\n In 2002\, she was named the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) National Case Manager of the Year and in 2008\, she received CMSA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She currently serves as President of the Case Management Society of America and is a Board Member of the Hospital Quality Foundation.
