Through her work\, she has seen firsthand how stress\, trauma\, and life challenges can impact individuals and their ability to recover from an injury. Sandy is passionate about helping people feel more confident\, recognizing when someone may be struggling and knowing how to respond with empathy and support. As a Mental Health First Aid trainer\, she teaches practical skills for identifying warning signs of mental health challenges\, responding to individuals in distress\, and connecting them with appropriate resources. \nHer training focuses on building awareness\, reducing stigma\, and empowering participants to take meaningful action when someone may be at risk.
