First time logging in? Having trouble getting into the updated site? Check out the frequently asked questions below!

First time logging in?

1. Go to cmsa.org

2. Select ‘Forgot Password’ in the blue ‘Quick Links’ box on the right side of the homepage

3. Enter your email address and select ‘Reset Password’

  • What if I don’t remember which email I used to create my account?
    • Email cmsa@cmsa.org and a representative can confirm your account email
  • What if I know I am using the correct email, but I do not get the reset code?
    • Check your ‘Junk’ folder
    • Check your ‘All Mail’ folder
    • If you do not see the email in your inbox, junk, or all mail within twenty minutes of requesting the reset, email cmsa@cmsa.org and a representative will send you credentials to reset

The site is not compatible with Internet Explorer. We suggest using Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

Navigating the site!

After receiving the temporary password:

  • Go to cmsa.org
  • Enter your email and temporary password in the ‘CMSA Login’ section under the blue ‘Quick Links’ box on the right side of the home page
  • Select ‘Log-in’
    • If you have a current invoice, you will be redirected to the Billing Page
    • If you do not have a current invoice, you will be directed to the Member Portal menu

 

Frequently Asked Questions: 

  • I think I am up for renewal, but do not have an invoice due?
    • Click the CMSA logo in the top left corner of the page to be redirected back to the homepage. In the blue box on the right side of the home page there will be a ‘Welcome’ message with your paid through date listed. If your paid through date is passed and you do not see an invoice, please send an email to cmsa@cmsa.org and a representative will generate a new invoice for you.
  • When I try to pay, the dropdowns won’t let me select anything?
    • Check your browser. The site is not compatible with Internet Explorer. We suggest using Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
  • How do I change my password?
    • In the Member Portal menu, select ‘Edit Profile’. Your email will auto generate in the ‘Change Password’ section. Enter your temporary password in the ‘Current Password’ box, and your new password in the ‘New Password’ box. Select ‘Change Password’. A message will appear at the top of your screen indicating that your password was successfully changed.
  • I updated my profile information, but can’t get out of the Edit Profile page?
    • Select the blue ‘Member Portal’ button at the top center of the page to be redirected to the Member Portal menu. You can also select the CMSA logo at the top left of the page to be redirected to the homepage.
  • Why does the log-in screen keep asking me to reset my password ("Your CMSA Login has changed as of 2/3/2021. Use Forgot Password first time logging in to reset.")
    • Once you have logged-in and changed your password, you can disregard this message. The message will remain on the login page until all members have completed their initial log-in.
  • How do I access the Education Resource Library?
    • Navigate to the Member Portal menu using the blue ‘Member Portal’ button at the top center of the page. Select ‘Educational Resource Library’ from the menu options.
  • How do I access my membership card?
    • Navigate to the Member Portal menu using the blue ‘Member Portal’ button at the top center of the page. Select “Print Membership Card’ from the menu options.
  • Why has my member number changed on my membership card?
    • When the site was updated, membership numbers were also updated. On your membership card, you will see two numbers: one starting with A, the other starting with J. The number starting with A is your old number, the number starting with J is your new number.
  • What if I need to change my chapter or membership type when renewing?
    • Send an email to cmsa@cmsa.org and a representative will edit your account.
  • What if I need to change my email address on file?
    • Send an email to cmsa@cmsa.org and a representative will edit update the email on your account.
  • What if my email is not auto generating when I try to update my password?
    • Check your browser. The site is not compatible with Internet Explorer. We suggest using Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
