Effective case management positively impacts the healthcare system, especially aligning with the goals of the Quintuple Aim which includes improving health outcomes, enhancing the experience of care, reducing the costs of care, improving the care team experience, and addressing social determinants of health/health equity. The CMSA Foundation established in 2008 envisioned a better future for the case management industry through a collaborative, inclusive community of healthcare professionals working together to build industry-wide solutions to case management issues.
