Isn’t failure a bad event? Failure isn’t planned or pretty, but it can be the catalyst for greater achievement. The ability to bounce back and offer quality patient/client/family outcomes is essential for the future of healthcare and case management practice. Including flexibility, motivation, and resilience is valuable in case management practice.
Through interactive discussion, this presentation will discuss failure as a valuable element in case management practice and describe failure as a transformative opportunity with strategies that promote case manager professional responsibilities.

Objectives:

• Define failure and how it impacts professional knowledge and growth.
• Discuss and describe approaches that transform failure into resilience, humility, and motivation.
• Apply strategies for improving the case manager’s responsibilities such as maintaining knowledge and evidence-based innovations.
