CMSA Behavioral Health Special Interest Group

The Behavioral Health Special Interest Group is a collaborative community within CMSA dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in mental health and substance use case management. Case managers working in behavioral health often navigate complex systems of care, coordinate across multiple providers, and support individuals and families facing unique challenges. This SIG provides a space to exchange expertise, explore evidence-based approaches, and share real-world solutions for integrating behavioral health into whole-person care.

Through interactive discussions, webinars, resource sharing, and networking opportunities, members can strengthen their skills and gain valuable insights to address the diverse needs of populations affected by mental health conditions and substance use disorders. By participating, you’ll connect with peers who share your passion for improving behavioral health outcomes, learn strategies to overcome common barriers, and contribute to the development of best practices in this critical area of case management.

Joining the Behavioral Health SIG ensures you have a supportive professional network and practical tools to help you lead change, promote resilience, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.
