The Central Virginia Chapter of CMSA’s Annual Meeting for 2024 will take place on October 8th from 6pm to 8pm. This in-person educational event, sponsored by Fresenius Medical Care, is free for all members. It will be held at Maggiano's located in Short Pump Town Center, Richmond, VA.  Attendees will receive continuing education credits for CCM, SW, and RN.

Topic: Discharging Dialysis Patients -- New Sites of Care & Delivery

Learning Objectives:

1. Discuss presenting patients with all treatment options – including differences in treatment frequency.
2. Describe off-site dialysis challenges that may be alleviated due to operational efficiencies of on-site dialysis.
3. Identify the opportunity of on-site dialysis as a means to transition more patients to home dialysis.
