Concussions continue to be a recurring topic of conversation among the media, health professionals, and the general public. In 2013, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine released a position statement that estimated as many as 3.8 million concussions occur within sports annually, with up to 50% of concussion injuries unreported. In this webinar, we will learn new advances in concussions that will help case managers working with injured workers, kids who play sports, and the elderly who are high fall risks.

• Identify patients that may be experiencing a concussion
• Understand considerations for prevention, treatment and recovery of patients with concussion
• Be able to determine appropriate “return to” protocols for patients depending on their needs and desired outcomes
