The Military / VA / DoD / DHA (MVD) Special Interest Group is a dedicated space for case managers serving Veterans, service members, and their families to connect, collaborate, and grow.
Hosted quarterly by the MVD Planning Committee, this forum brings together professionals across the VA, military facilities, Department of Defense, and Defense Health Agency to exchange insights, share resources, and strengthen practices that drive better patient outcomes.
This is a CMSA Member benefit for our case managers who are serving active service members, Veterans, and their families within the military services, DoD/DHA and Veterans Affairs.

June is National PTSD Awareness Month. The June SIG topic will be PTSD with focus on family / caregiver impact, emerging therapies, and resources related to the challenges and struggles of PTSD amongst Veterans, service members, and their families.
